I woke up in the middle of the night and "felt" like there was something at the foot of my bed. The picture that entered my mind was of a goblin, about 3 feet tall, with green/bumpy skin, large/sharp teeth, etc. At first I thought it was just my imagination. I was about to open my eyes and look at the foot of my bed, when I felt the thing move around the bed until it was right beside me. After that, I could not force myself to open my eyes. It felt like the thing was breathing on me. I stayed awake for a long time trying to convince myself it was nothing, but the feeling would not go away. I eventually built up enough courage to pull the covers over my head and hide, as much as I could. I began repeating "God, please help me," over and over again. I don't remember falling asleep, but the next thing I do remember was that it was morning and I still had the covers over my head and was still in the same position I had been when I started asking for help. Maybe it was a dream, maybe it was my imagination, maybe it was real. It was real enough to me.

Glad I can add something different. "Sleep-overs" that I have attended usually ended up in the "extended borrowing" of various items belonging to the local d.o.t. One included a road sign that required my buddy and I to carry it, drop it at the sight of a car, dive behind bushes, pick up the sign and continue while the coast was clear (there was a curfew in effect for kids our age at the time and we were in violation of it). Other items included climbing the outside of the school to get on the roof, removing the lamp from a downed field light and shattering it (it sounded like a shotgun blast), and various other destructive/trespassing/minor offenses. Funny thing is, there was never any alcohol or drugs involved. Didn't need those to have a good time. Oh no. Just violate some minor laws and endanger ourselves. Yup, steer clear of drugs and alcohol, their dangerous, unlike bored teenagers with nothing better to do... *sarcasm, in case you didn't get it*

1% because skim taste like water, a 2% is bad for you in large amounts. I can drink a gallon by myself in a few days

I hit my brother in the mouth with a plastic baseball bat. It was an accident, but he will always have a chipped front tooth because of it.

Cancer. I'm a disease

Cancer

A psuedodragon. This comes more from the D&D monster manual, but they are about 1.5 foot to two feet long and are basically miniature dragons (for the most part).

f

I don't know about Animenetwork, but G4 Tech TV has a few shows every now and then, and Adult Swim on Cartoon Network has a bunch of shows on Saturday evenings.

f

I saw various shows on TV. I guess DBZ was the first one that I started watching on a regular basis, though I've since quit. (it drags things out way to long) But, because of that, I started looking for and watching other shows.

f

I will watch it the first time, but I will skip after that. I'm usually wanting to see what happens next so I don't want to bother with the opening.

f

My first favorite character was Rei from Evangelion. Don't ask me why, cause I'm not really sure at this point

f

I use iTunes. I like Apple, and I like how they have set up their product. It works very well with some nice features.

I had a cable connection until my apartment complex quit using that particular provider. I am now stuck with a DSL connection until I move to my new apartment. I hate this connection that I have. Despite everything being plugged in correctly, filter being on all the phone lines, and everything else, the connection comes and goes sporadically. It makes no sense. My cable modem was always on, always consistent, and I never had any problems from it. This DSL connection is for the birds.

Bill Gates is a genius when it comes to marketing. He took someone else's idea and turned it into the Microsoft monopoly we know today. So, as far as marketing goes, he is a master.

I hate Microsoft and it's products for numerous reasons, the biggest being the following:

1) All Microsoft products or only barely tested before being thrown out into the market. Evidence for this is in Windows ME. That was a totally failed product that never would have been released had Microsoft performed the pre-release testing that should have.

2) Backwards/Cross-program compatability issues. IBM has a wonderful office package called Lotus with almost all the same things as Microsoft Office. However, if you try to convert a Lotus document into Office, it comes out almost as garbage. Lotus, in comparison, will convert Office files perfectly and can be edited/used in Lotus. Also, there are little quirks such as not being able to install a game in Windows XP; however, if the game was installed on the system prior to installing XP, then the game will run fine in XP. Why you cannot install a game in XP, but you can run the game if it was installed before XP is a mystery to me.

3) Microsoft's way or the highway. Microsoft is constantly setting up it's systems so that programmers and hardware designers have to conform to Microsoft's standards, regardless of how ridiculous it may be. Everything that IBM did when computers were first developing is being undermined by Microsoft. IBM shared design details to help make hardware and software compatible across systems. Microsoft is slowly degrading many of those practices all in their quest to "produce a better product."

Need to add this:

You also know you are addicted to anime when you claim an anime character as your boyfriend/girlfriend.

f

Always something watching. Ghosts, phantoms, or other beings. Learning to communicate is the hard part

f

You know you're addicted to anime when you spend $500 at anime conventions but can't spend money getting your car fixed.

f

I might eventually forgive them...but I would never trust them again. We would have to complete part ways. It would have to be a really really really good excuse for me to even consider maintaing communication with them afterwards.

f

Quote by chdwckI'm not sure which anime character I would like to be; however, I have been told that I act almost exactly like Vash the Stampede. Acting goofy all the time but it hides a very serious side. I hate violence, and I'm also a pretty accurate shot. So, I guess I would have to say Vash.

I have to add that I love donuts. I can eat donuts all day long and not get sick of them.

f

Coffee OR donuts? Aren't the connected "at the hip"? The fried donuts by Krispy Kreme go well with milk as well, but if you have cake donuts you have to have coffee! There is no way to get around that.

Orguss 2 is a sci-fi with mechs. It was made around 1990. Here is the synopsis from the back of the DVD:

"For 200 years they lay deep beneath the Earth, silent on the ocean floor. Now, the rival nations of Zafran and Revillia race to gain possession of the Decimators, destructive robots of war. Even though these armaments are from the past, the Decimators have become key components ina bi-lateral military build-up as political tensions between the two lands escalates - but the Earth itself faces extinction should these ultimate weapons be unleased!"

Come to think of it, that summary is actually pretty crappy. I have to add in that part the of the plot involves multi-dimension travel. I won't go any further in order to prevent spoilers, but if you want a run down of the plot, send me a private message.

The best things about this series are the plot twists. That is what I enjoy most. The other nice things are, despite a few characters being fairly flat and boring, there are also some incredibly interesting characters. This is an enjoyable six episode series.

f

Has anyone else heard of or seen Orguss 2? It is the OVA to an old series called Orguss. Orguss 2 is one of my favorite animes because of the numerous plot twists and interesting story line. Some of the characters are a bit cliche and flat, but I still like it for what it is. Who else has seen this anime? What do you think?

Green Tea... You are Green Tea! Strong and very smart you prefer peace to violence and very rarely take action if it involves confrontation. But you make up for this with your keen insight and understanding of the world and people around you, you have a very mysterious nature. Many people see you as laid back and that may be true but you are very intelligent and make good decisions.
